I conclude my book "Loving God," and then introduce the new format for my podcast. My first topic is St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis has helped me immensely in my life. I give a brief introduction to him at the end of the podcast. 

How do you love God with your mind? Pay attention when your brain is being stabbed.

When does a battleship captain have to take orders from a seaman second class? When do you, the captain of your life, have to take orders from God? Listen and hear a wonderful story that will change the way you view authority.

Humans have the strangest bad habit imaginable. This bad habit prevents them from having a much more enjoyable life than they do.

God does not think about time the way we do. To God, there is only "right now." When we begin to think about time the way God does, we ruin fewer present moments thinking about the future and the past. 

Repentance isn't groveling on the floor before an angry, wrathful god. Repentance is different than any religious person has probably ever told you it is.

Love is not a feeling. Love is union with a person, and that person's name is God. I examine the many New Testament verses declaring this wondrous fact.

EGO=the opposite of LOVE. Why was Jesus Christ so opposed to the human ego? Only one reason; ego always leads us away from LOVE. LOVE is the force in the universe that  brings all people and all things together. All else is ANARCHY.

How in the world do you love God with all of your soul? Step 1 is changing the way you think about yourself.

Union with God! That's what all Christians have. Problem is, the Pharisees don't want you to know that. And Yes, it is clearly taught in Scripture.

Want to improve your relationship with God? Then listen and find out practical things you can do immediately to connect to God better.

What is the God you believe in like? Is your God full of warmth, love, and compassion or is the God you believe in a monster of vengeance and judgment? Listen to how the concept of the Trinity may help you relate to God a lot better than you do now.

Do you want to have an honest relationship with God? Then you are going to have to learn to express all of your emotions to him including anger. The Bible has many startling verses concerning this. 

You must be completely honest in all of your dealings with God. That means expressing your anger to him at times. If you don't do this, then your relationship will remain shallow. Listen how I learned this the hard way.

Reading a magazine article about the Grand Canyon is not like standing on the South Rim yourself. Likewise, reading about God is not like having a relationship with him and experiencing him. Here is yet another way to love God.

One way to love God is to love him with all of our heart. But how do we do this? In this podcast we look at a few of Jesus' suggestions.

The modern Pharisees have so messed up "worship," that people don't even know what God wants them to do. God is not interested in song singing. Find out what really pleases God in worship.

God wants a close, intimate, and intense love relationship with you that is in some ways like the relationship between husband and wife. Don't take my word for it, read Song of Songs chapters 4, 6, and 7 for starters. And here is the best part, God can't remember all of your mistakes in the relationship. He can't remember one of them.

Loving other people is next to impossible if you don't change the way you look at others. Here's how to view others as Jesus has taught us. (I bet it's different than what you think)
